I finished my Pod creature from Pattee's class at Odd-dolls.ning but it won't come through it is all blurry and I've tried three times! Ok one more before I publish post to see if it makes it! OK, it looks like this is the best I can get so far of my pod creature! (Santa I need a good camera with a great zoom!) The Pod class was fun, I haven't used polymer clay in a very long time and it has convinced me that I prefer earthenware clay and paperclay. Oh well, to each his own! Polymer for me is best used like this pod creature as little as possible! Just my opinion...lol! I will leave the polymer clay to the expert hands like Pattee at Odd-dolls! Check out Pattee's blog on my blog list...you won't be disappointed! Thanks Pattee for a fun class!
The bottom picture is of the Little Miss Mollies from Jane DesRosier's tutorial at cloth and clay dolls. I really had a lot of fun making these. The funny thing is that I had some porcelain figures hanging near my front door since the late 1980"s and had this sort of similar pattern all along! So the one on the left is made using Jane's tutorial and the one on the right is made similarly to my hanging porcelain figures near my door.
