Sometimes! Here I am once again trying to get the creative mojo going so I sketched, didn't quite like it, gessoed over the sketch...hmmm, rubbed some slate gray oil pastel over a template on the face. Brought out my pencil and sketched a few more lines. Sprayed with workable fixative. Now what? Still playing, better than becoming comatose with the tv. Ok, I will be patient with myself for a change or maybe a moment.

I love the mystery of the face behind the branches. I look forward to seeing where it ends up! Also the picture below-the eyes are amazing-such depth. Lovely as always.
I love everything you do!
You just might end up with a masterpiece!
You just might end up with a masterpiece!
I love the way you are always experimenting
It doesn't always just 'happen' as some people think
I don't like when someone asks me " How long did it take you to paint this ?" ..... oh .... they have no idea !
ha ha
I love what you do ..... have a very happy and creative New Year
Thank you all but I just really made it ugly, ugly, ugly...that is all part of the fun! I am going to gesso over it and see what happens! Thank you all for the encouragement!
Happy New Year to all of you!
