Today, wet on wet...

Today I want to paint but I don't want to paint, so I dropped wet watercolor onto wet paper.  Just playing today.  In a strange mood.  Why do moods have to interfere with what you think you want to do?  I feel like half my head has a rock in it, the other half is light as air!  Balance, where is the balance.  Just talking here.

Finished!

Its ok to be there...I find the week before my period I can not make any decisions, and I don't push it. I think your wet on wet is good : )

That is so cool! I love the colors and the "messiness" of it all. Beautiful!

There was a troubled look at the beginning of the painting and it went to quite light and untroubled.
I like it also.

Hi Janine, You wrote me about watermarks (did you know you're set as a no-reply blogger?...that's why I'm writing you through your blog. You can check my post on creating a watermark http://www.myheartartbygeri.com/2011/06/how-to-make-watermark.html

I'm usually stuck during the day and then at night my mind comes alive. Just wonderful when I have to get up early and go to work :P Radical acceptance. The piece turned out quite nice, despite the mood.

I know that feeling. You want to create but there's a little devil that just wants to spoil.... However you obviously knocked your devil into touch! This turned out fab!

Wet on wet, what a glorious blending of colors...granddaughter would love to see ME with magenta hair....now that would be a picture. Fun idea to paint wet into wet a face, can end up with anything. smiles: sharon
