I can't stop playing with this ink!

I am so impressed with this Dylusions Melted Chocolate Ink that I bought from www.joggles.com

this is all ink and black pen for outline in my small Hand Book journal.  The colors all begin with the melted chocolate ink.  As they dry the color changes and if I add more ink over the top more shades and different colors appear like magic to me.  I have to buy some more of this.  I haven't yet tried other colors of the Dylusions ink but I will have to now!  I squirt some ink into a tiny pallette and paint with a brush.  I started this by just playing and spraying and wiping but the face I painted using a brush.  I promise I added no other colors to this other than my black gel pen ink.  The top photo on the left hand side was the ink just sprayed onto deli paper.  I blotted some ink up and left some blobs to just dry.  I then tore the paper and added it to my journal to see how it would work out.  I am very happy with the experiment!  Just had to share this Ink with you who like to explore!

This is what I did with charcoal and pastel.  This is my rendition of English artist Dora Carrington.  I found I am really enjoying charcoal!  Have to play some more.

Playing today with tracing paper...

thanks to Lynne Hoppe at www.lynnehoppe.blogspot.com I love Lynne's creative mind!  Here is my play with tracing paper.  Thank you Lynne for your generousity in sharing technique!  Does anyone know of a good glue to use with tracing paper?

 

I used colored pencils and Inktense wc pencils, also some white acrylic paint, just a dab.

On this piece of tracing paper I used a piece of old lace and sprayed Dylusions Melted Chocolate Ink Spray over it. I like the effect but have to iron the paper as it tends to curl when wet.  I will paint over it.

Now for some teabag art.

I used Faber Castell Pitt pen and Inktense wc pencils and some more Dylusions Melted Chocolate Ink Spray. I think I will put some beeswax over it when finished.

Part 2 painting on muslin.

Here is my painting after applying clear gesso and painting over the underpainting with acrylic paints, stabilo pencil and Portfolio Watersoluable oil pastels with gel medium.  I also stenciled a background with the oil pastels and then heat set.  I am in the process now of deciding what other fabrics and laces to add to this piece.
